Nikki Wilson on Series 4 of SJA

12 March 2010

With filming for the next Series of The Sarah Jane Adventures due to start later this month, Nikki Wilson has offered some little snippets of what fans can expect for Series 4, which will air this Autumn.

“The Nightmare Man is part of a really big emotional journey for Luke which involves him facing his fears and excitement about the future,” she said. “The Shansheeth are vulture undertakers who get embroiled with the gang on a big adventure for the middle of the series.”

She explained that,“London and Bannerman Road will always be the heart of the show. We’re not Doctor Who, so we don’t go flying off around the universe." However Sarah Jane and her gang take there first visit to an Alien world in the upcoming series, "This is an opportunity for us to get a glimpse of it though," she tells Digital Spy.

Finely she tells us the producers aren't ruling out a cross-over with Doctor Who again, after the huge success of it in the latest Series,“We will always maintain our links with the show but, Sarah Jane is a show in its own right. There will always be room for crossovers in the future but it won’t be a bigger feature than it has been in the past.”
