Cheryl Cole in Series Five of Doctor Who?

04 November 2009

Digital Spy recently released a post containing some exciting rumours that Cheryl Cole, popular singer and judge on The X Factor, was to play a 'big' part in the fifth series of Doctor Who. However, an insider for a newspaper revealed that "If she can find the time, a part will be written for her".
Previous celebrities that have guest stared in Doctor Who are Comedian Peter Kay (Abzorbalof and Mr Kennedy), Kylie Minouge (Astrid Peth) and another comedian Catherine Tate (Donna Noble). This will be a real treat for Doctor Who to welcome yet another familiar face to the show, which will give Doctor Who a bigger chance of views in the future.

Doctor Who, Series Five introduces newcomer Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor and Karen Gillan as Amy Pond, and is executive produced by Steven Moffat in next years 2010.
