Alex Kingston Speaks to SFX Magazine

21 April 2010

In the June edition of the popular Science Fiction magazine, SFX, Alex Kingston appeared in the issues Profile and discussed her upcoming appearance in Doctor Who: Time of the Angels/Flesh and Stone. I bought the magazine today, and read this feature as well as the interview with Matt Smith himself. Alex Kingston said "Matt is quite...sexy! I shouldn't say this, but he is. Quirky and mad professorish, but also quite sexy. He was nearly a professional footballer, so he's got that slight laddish thing going on as well!"

"He's really, really lovely and a fantastic actor who allows himself to be vulnerable in a way that I don't think iv'e ever seen before. I didn't even know what he looked like! On the first evening, Karen, Matt and I we're all going to meet and have supper, just to get to know each other. I arrived at this restaurant and then this person came towards me. I thought it was the director!"

Please do credit Square Eyes, Tardis Travels, for this price of writing because I did write it all myself. Alex Kingston appears once again (but for the first time, wibbly wobbly timey wimey!) as Professor River Song in this weeks episode of Doctor Who, Time of the Angels.
