I am guessing that this is the American Cover as the Season 1 American Boxset has the Black sides as well, and the English version dosn't.

Bonus Features:

Season synopses for all stories
Investigating Tools – a gadget glossary
Quiz with special footage prize
Character and alien profiles
Photo gallery
Audio clips

Also, even though The Sarah Jane Adventures Season 2 has not yet aired in America, they will still be getting the Boxset a day after the UK!

Torchwood Page Now Open and other News

23 August 2009

Well that's right. After the extremely long wait the Torchwood Page has Re-Opened better than ever. Make sure you all take a look at the Torchwood Page and you will notice the huge difference. We have spent all the time on it, that is the main reason I have been doing less updates, but do you know what, we still have things to add to the Torchwood page. So that's one thing you can Look forward to.

Unfortunately due to some Technical Problems we have been unable to open the new Forum, we will see to this as soon as possible. In the mean time I have decided that Tardis Travels is not going to be a mainly News Site any more, so the News post will be cut short from now and maybe not as much of them as well. Also due to our extremely busy schedule right now we could not do Blog 2. That will also be seen to in are free time. If we can not find a Assistant News Writer than I am not sure what I will do, so please do apply. You will also find that there will be no updates next week as we our going on holiday from this Friday until the Saturday the 29th!

You will see a lot more changes to Tardis Travels in the future as I have got some big Ideas and an also trying to find a better host. So this week there will be a slight lack of posts. One big Idea I have in mind, I am gonna keep a secret as it may not happen. So look out for these changes.

Tennant Talks Time on Who

Outgoing 10th Doctor David Tennant, was recently Discussing his time on Doctor Who with the public, and how brilliant and special it has been! You can see what he said Below:

"It's been overwhelming. You go into a supermarket and see your face on a cake, on T-shirts and childrens' pants, which is something they don't prepare you for at drama school. It's just been the most exciting four years I will ever experience, probably. I will take away so many brilliant memories. One thing I leave the show with a slight sadness about is that I didn't snog Bernard Cribbins! I got to snog all the Doctor's other companions."

He then Continued: "Change is part of the show. When Tom Baker, who I idolised, left I couldn't conceive of another Doctor. Then Peter Davison came along and three weeks later I thought he was the best that's ever been. Hopefully viewers will watch my finale, cry at the end, and a few weeks later they'll think Matt Smith is the greatest thing that's ever been, which he is."

On being asked about returning to Doctor Who, he said, "The dust has to settle first. But who knows? The 50th anniversary of Dr Who is in 2013 and it would be good to mark that somehow. But that's not an announcement, there's no plans... not yet."

David Tennant Given a Souvenir Screwdriver

David Tennant, our outgoing 10th Doctor has recently said that he was given his Sonic Screwdriver, which he used in all four Series of his time on Doctor Who. He also got to take his Suit home with him which he also used on his time as Doctor Who. It is said that he took his suit home in case he ever returns to the program for a Special Episode or something along the lines of that! He also said:

There was crying but I suppose it would have been wrong if one had been able to just walk away. I did get a sonic screwdriver which I'm very, very proud of. I keep it on a shelf, near to where the suit is hanging up."

So a little present for our 10th Doctor, well isn't that what he deserves! Being on all our TV screens for 3 years, soon to be 4, giving us the best possible entertainment! Bye David Tennant!
